As you are aware, the Dispensation from the obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and other Holy Days of Obligationwas lifted, effective the weekend of June 5/6, 2021.
Exception continues - Those who have a serious reason, the sick and infirmed, as well as those with pre-existing conditions, those who are incapable of physically attending Mass, and those who care for someone who is immune-compromised are exempt from attending Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation.
[August 8, 2022] The 2023 Mass Book is open.
The church teaches us that our prayers are invaluable to the living as well as those who have died. We commend them to God’s mercy when we pray for them. The living and the dead are helped not only by our daily prayers, but by the offering of masses in their names for the benefit of their souls. Please contact the parish office to schedule a mass.
Suggested donations for Mass Intentions: Bishop Scharfenberger approved the offering for Mass intention increase from $10.00 to $15.00 starting May 23, 2021. The Bishop has the sole responsibility of setting the suggested offering for Mass intentions for the Diocese of Albany. The last time the offering was increased was in 1985.
