ATTENDING MASS & COVID 19

Please refer to this page often so you are aware of changes that are being implemented at Our Lady Queen of Peace/Saint Margaret of Cortona parish for the health and safety of our parish community.  All changes and procedures we have put in place are in accordance with the guidance we have received from the Albany Diocese and Public Health Officials.

SCROLL TO THE BOTTOM of this page for the links to sign up for the Mass of your choice.  Please be sure to read all information provided before signing up to attend a mass.  By signing up to attend mass, you attest to the following on behalf of yourself and all those you are registering

The Guidelines that need to be followed are:

  • The Bishop is reinstating the obligation to attend mass as of June 5-6, but has made dispensations for those who are sick, vulnerable or have pre-existing health conditions or those caring for the sick.

DO NOT ATTEND IF YOU FEEL SICK IN ANY WAY -- ARE COUGHING OR SNEEZING.  Please review the most recent protocols at           https://www.rcda.org/coronavirus

  • Wearing a mask is required but it is not permitted to wear gloves during the reception of Holy Communion.

  • Stay 6 feet apart. [Except same household members]

  • Holy Communion will be distributed in the hand.

  • Place your donation in the large basket as you enter church.

All hymnals have been removed.  Please do not bring any of your own worship aids, hymnals, prayer books, devotionals and place nothing on the pews.

** Please make sure you click the green bar within the OLQP or Saint Margaret section rather than the green sign up bar at the top of the page. **
